Asset Oriented Modeling (AOM)

- Step by Step (5) -

Level 2 Structures

After identifying assets, properties, and arcs, and normalizing the resulting model, we can introduce Level 2 structures such as Business Objects or Business Documents:

For each Business Object and Business Document we determine an identifying asset. We then group the remaining assets around these selected assets.

To satisfy the constraints for identifying assets, we had to apply arc reversal operations to the assets "receives" and "forwards". We have highlighted the reversed arcs with a fat stroke.
